With the extended lockdown in Delhi coming to an end at 5am on May 24, the Delhi government is mulling over the possibility of extending the lockdown. This is despite a drop in new Covid-19 cases and a dip in case positivity rate.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced starting of oxygen concentrator banks from May 15. The Delhi chief minister said that the oxygen concentrator banks have been started for Covid-19 patients who need urgent and timely supply of medical oxygen for effective treatment.
Arvind Kejriwal said 200 oxygen concentrator banks will be set up in every district in Delhi.
Moreover, the Delhi government will also provide doorstep delivery of oxygen concentrators for Covid-19 patients who are recovering in home isolation. Arvind Kejriwal added that those who have been discharged from hospitals after recovering from Covid-19 will also be provided oxygen concentrators on recommendation by doctors.
