A drug dealer accused of dismembering the corpse of a murdered jazz musician says he cannot remember taking a taxi trip with his body parts stuff in a suitcase in the boot, the Old Bailey heard.
William Blaise Algar, 53, who had mental health problems, was cuckooed by drug dealers who took over his tiny cluttered flat in Barnes, southwest London, to use it as a base for their trade, the prosecution alleges.
He was stabbed to death by a 19-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, when the teenager went mad after discovering, Mr Algar had been using his supply for recreational use, it is claimed.
