Cicero–North Syracuse High School students celebrated at their junior prom Friday, May 14, 2021. The event was held at the Sheraton University Hotel in Syracuse.
Due to the pandemic, the prom was broken up into four time slots to spread out the students. There are more than 620 students in the junior class, according to school officials.
Students attending also had to get Covid tests or show school officials they had been vaccinated.

Rileigh White, an East Syracuse Minoa High School student, has been on the fence. She didn’t have a junior prom last year and, as much as she missed it, she might skip this year’s senior ball.
After juniors and seniors were denied a dance last year because of the Covid-19 shutdown, school administrators are committed to restoring the tradition this spring.
