The final two charged with conspiracy faced a judge in federal court. Yesterday, 34yearold Evette Morris hernandez of sioux city will spend 3 and a half years behind bars with three years of supervised release. 36yearold Esteban Hernandez of mercedes, texas received 6 months in prison and one year supervised release. They tried to drive jamal dean out of the country before they were stopped by authorities. Judge mark bennett says he took several things into consideration when deciding the sentence for the two. He says evettes was the top female member of the f13 gang in sioux city. And she was involved in the shooting of a rival gang member. Esteban was not a gang member and didnt know jamal dean.
