Dallas police are asking for the public’s help finding an 82-year-old man who was last seen Saturday afternoon in Pleasant Grove.
Robert E. McFan was last seen around 2:30 p.m. walking northbound through an alley in the 200 block of Buttercup Lane, near North Prairie Creek Road and Elam Road.
Pleasant Grove church torn down after overnight fire; no injuries reported
About 40 firefighters battled the fire, which broke out around 1:30 a.m. at the New Light Church.

A Pleasant Grove church had to be torn down after a fire broke out early Thursday.
Dallas Fire-Rescue units were called about 1:30 a.m. at New Light Church, 9314 Elam Road, near North Prairie Creek Road, department spokesman Jason Evans said.
Firefighters could see flames coming through the roof of the church when they arrived, Evans said. About 40 firefighters responded to the scene.
The fire was extinguished around 4 a.m.
