The Pajaro River levee was breached overnight Friday, prompting evacuations. National Guard high-water rescue vehicles were stationed in the area to help the evacuation effort.
Since January's heavy rain and floods subsided, leaders from Community Bridges and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, have tried to guide storm victims toward aid for repairs.
