McIntire became associated with the Christine Brothers Funeral Parlor . operating at the time in rooms above the McIntire Furniture Store on West Liberty Street. Several years later, the establishment became known as Danford, McIntire and Nixon Funeral Home . then as McIntire and Nixon.
