That rain is inching closer to you on the south coast, the cape, the islands. Embedded downpours where youre seeing the yellows and the oranges and even a few lightning strikes here. Just the eastern tip here of long island. All of this is lifting north ward. In the next half hea our or so, we may start to see a few rain drops here on the vineyard and also nantucket. From there its going to continue to lift on north ward. Rain is moving in this morning. Look at these temperatures. 60 around plymouth. Lower 60s on the cape. Elsewhere mainly in the 50s. And that is nice. It does. And that is a realic check. And into the south coast and northern Bristol County and we have a dense fog advisory from 9 00 a. M. And the visibility, a quarter of a mile or less at times. Be aware of changing visibility out there. A quarter of a mile dense fog and nashua, New Hampshire, to concord, and keane in there, too and this fog should burn off by late to midmorning. 51 in boston and 39 in taunton. 37 in nashua and in the lower 50s from lawrence to worcester. Once that burns off, a great amount of sunshine with clouds mixed in like yesterday and 50s this morning and rying into the early 50s this afternoon. Any shopping you had planned, no weatherrelated issues and breezy today and that is gusting occasionally over 20 miles an hour in the 50s in the evening. Well take

The temperatures are warmer than they are in the afternoon and its 51 at Logan Airport and there are cooler spots from nashua to taunton and 39 degrees. And some 40s in between. Overall, a pretty mild start with a blend of clouds and clear skies. A touch of patchy fog that will burn off. That is the one thing you may notice this morning. Otherwise, were in for sun and clouds and a warm one. This time last year we were in the 40s. Sarah sure enough, we were in the 40s for two weeks before christmas. Low to middle 40s for highs and take a look at temperatures now. Mid to upper 40s currently right now. We are dealing with some showers and temperatures really going to warm up. So be prepared, you may see a few rain drops out there and take a quick look at some of the radar, not much happening in the cape and islands down across the southeast, the south shore, a few rain drops if youre going to be traveling along 93, places like milton seeing some wet weather and along the north shore in parts of New Hampshire and wenting wenting and more wet weather out to the west and disturbance continue to push eastward and once it does late in the morning lunch hour see dryer conditions, breaks in the cloud cover and temperatures jump from the 40s now to the 50s.
