Hart pretrial continues May 10
Norman Hart’s pretrial continued in a brief virtual court session held on April 19, adjourned to continue on May 10 at 9:30 a.m.
Hart, of Dysart et al, was 33-years-old in 2019 when he was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, on June 18, after Haliburton Highlands OPP were called to a house along Highland Street in Haliburton where they found the deceased body of Robert James Brown, 49, of Haliburton.

A community focal point has been created to help a Norfolk village spread positive messages and future hopes as it plots its recovery path out of the ongoing pandemic.
With the blessing of the Rev Nigel Tuffnell, a tree at St Johnâs Church in Broad Street, Harleston, has been selected as a place where residents can visit and pin messages of hope and future plans to it, in order to foster community spirit and keep morale up among residents.
The project, which has been named the tree of hope, was the idea of Pam Spicer, from Harleston Information Plus, who has been working with Better Together Norfolk and Harleston Kindness Help Hub to help publicise the initiative.
