Harleston Tree of Hope helps residents to plan for a brighter tomorrow Published: 12:00, 30 January 2021
A community focal point has been created to help a Norfolk village spread positive messages and future hopes as it plots its recovery path out of the ongoing pandemic.
With the blessing of the Rev Nigel Tuffnell, a tree at St Johnâs Church in Broad Street, Harleston, has been selected as a place where residents can visit and pin messages of hope and future plans to it, in order to foster community spirit and keep morale up among residents.
The project, which has been named the tree of hope, was the idea of Pam Spicer, from Harleston Information Plus, who has been working with Better Together Norfolk and Harleston Kindness Help Hub to help publicise the initiative.
