The city of Stuttgart has a new mayor as former alderman Norma King Strabala was sworn into office Monday evening.
The ceremony took place during a reception held at Open Season Sports Bar & Grill in Stuttgart. Strabala hosted a meet and greet reception for the community prior to the swearing-in ceremony. She was sworn into office by County Judge Eddie Best at 5 p.m.
Following the swearing-in, Strabala thanked the crowd and the community for their support, and said it’s time to get to work to “make Stuttgart what it used to be.”
