Amid searing heat, the Noida Authority on Wednesday said the first shift of hundreds of its employees in departments engaged in outdoor work will now begin at 6 am.
The two-day-long Dr M S Randhawa Memorial Flower Show and Competition commenced with a burst of colours at the grounds near Dr Manmohan Singh Auditorium at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) here. Organised by PAU’s department of floriculture and landscaping, in collaboration with the estate organisation, the event dazzled visitors with a breathtaking array of flowers.

The two-day 'Flower and Baby Show' of MC will begin at Nehru Rose Garden in Ludhiana on Saturday (Feb 24). Competitions under different categories including cut flowers, flowers in pots, garden competition, bouquet/garland competitions etc. Ludhiana West MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi will inaugurate the show and MC commissioner Sandeep Rishi will participate in the prize distribution ceremony.
