Noida: In a major development that will benefit lakhs of Noida residents, it has been decided that the Bhangel elevated road will have direct access from Vishwakarma Marg, which has now become one of the city’s busiest traffic arteries. The Noida Authority has started work on finalising the cost estimates for building two loops at the intersection.
The six-lane elevated road is being built between Aghapur and NSEZ turn in Sector 82. Due to the presence of busy markets in Aghapur, Chhalera, Barola, Salapur and Bhangel, it currently takes 45-60 minutes to reach the NSEZ turn from Noida Golf Course. So, in June 2020, the Authority started work on building a Rs 468 crore worth 4.5km-long elevated road to bring down the commute time to half between the two ends.
