BENKELMAN, Neb. Dundy County-Stratton school officials have confirmed 2020 Peru State University grad Noah Temme has been hired as the new girls basketball head coach.
Temme will teach social studies while inheriting the Tigers from Matt Thomas, who took a teaching and coaching position in Holdrege following last season.
A Fillmore Central High School grad, Temme played basketball and ran cross country for those Panthers before continuing his running career with the Peru State Bobcats.
Temme told McCook radio voice Seth Baumert last week that he has volunteer assisted high school, junior high and youth basketball programs. However, DC-S will be his first head coaching experience.
