Our speaker tonight is dr. William hitchcock author of the age of eisenhower, america and the world in the 1950s. Dr. Hitchcock is a professor of history at the university of virginia where he focussed on International Diplomatic history in the 21st century, in particular the era of the world wars and cold war. Dr. Hitchcock is the author of the bitter road to freedom which was a Pulitzer Prize finalist and was also a Financial Times best seller in the united kingdom. Following dr.
