The convict, identified as Jayesh Pujari alias Jayesh Kantha, was taken into custody from the Hindalga jail and brought to Nagpur in a flight in the morning.
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said his government will thoroughly investigate the case pertaining to the threat call to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari from the Hindalga jail in Belagavi.
A threat call was received at the office of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in Maharashtra on Saturday, the Nagpur Police said. An unknown person called thrice and threatened to kill him. He also threatened to blow up the office.
