Guwahati: Distinguished educationist Nishant Prakash has been named in the high-level committee established and working for implementing National Education Policy 2020. Nishant Prakash is one of the leading educationists of the country working towards reforming Legal Education in India. The committee is headed by Principal Secretary of Education in the state of Assam.
Indian sprinter Hima Das, General Secretary of Assam Cricket Association Devajit Lon Saikia, and scientist Uddhab Bharali are among the 73 distinguished people in the committee. The objective of the committee is to articulate and enforce an education policy for Assam as per the guidelines of the National Education Policy (2020).
Indian Army Acquires 14 Acres Land In Arunachal Pradesh
The Indian Army has acquired around land in West Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh to construct buildings for its units deployed near LAC with China.

New Delhi: The Indian Army has acquired around 14 acres of land in the West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh, as part of its ongoing efforts to further fortify its presence along the borders, sources said.
The Army would be using the land acquired to construct buildings for its units deployed near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China. The Army has two of its companies looking after Arunachal Pradesh including the Dimapur-based 3 Corps and Tezpur-based 4 Corps.
