The Ottawa County Historical Society has scheduled Saturday, July 10, for a grand re-opening of the iconic Wolcott Keeper’s House, 9999 Bayshore Rd., Danbury. In addition to docent-led tours, the Rotary Club Perch Wagon will be on hand for its annual visit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Reineman has conducted research on community access to the beach and Patsch specializes in coastal geology and the changing shape of the shore, so the scientists combined their interests to develop the project.
The team also includes Phillip King, San Francisco State University associate professor of economics; professor Nina Roberts, director of the San Francisco State University Department of Recreation, Parks & Tourism; and Charles Lester, director of the Ocean and Coastal Policy Center in the Marine Science Institute at UCSB.
Student and faculty researchers will look at factors such as who has access to the beach, who is prevented from going to the beach and why, and what’s happening with rising sea level along what’s known as the Santa Barbara Littoral Cell, extending 144 miles from the mouth of the Santa Maria River to the Mugu Submarine Canyon.
Northwest Ohio police: Missing 6-month-old boy found safe
The boy was located Tuesday after being taken by his mother. She was arrested on child endangerment charges.

PERRYSBURG, Ohio Perrysburg Township Police Department confirmed a 6-month-old boy was found safely Tuesday after being reported missing.
The boy was taken by his mother, Nina Roberts, who is not allowed to have the child, prompting police to issue a missing endangered alert.
Toledo police found Roberts, 39, of Defiance, and the boy in the 2800 block of Chase on Tuesday evening. She was handed over to Perrysburg authorities on felony warrants.
