Court officials asking for help locating man wanted for escape
STARKE COUNTY, Ind. Court officials are asking for the public’s help locating a man who violated a court order by removing his GPS tracking unit.
Austin Salyer is 5’9” tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds. He was recently living in the Knox area.

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – The Elkhart Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a fraud case.

Four Winds Field to host Penn vs. Mishawaka game By: Maura Johnson
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Four Winds Field will host a Penn High School vs. Mishawaka High School baseball game next month.
On April 22, the Kingsmen and Cavemen will face off on the South Bend Cubs’ field at 5 p.m. (JV) and 7:15 p.m. (Varsity).

Increase in targeted patrols and a new ride sharing initiative in line for this weekend By: Matt Nagy
Troopers with the Indiana State Police will be conducting targeted patrols over the next few days to combat an expected increase in impaired and dangerous driving behavior.
Increased patrols will take place from Wednesday through Saturday in preparation of more impaired driving during both St. Patrick s Day and the first two rounds of the college basketball tournament.
Troopers will be out in full force in an effort to keep our Indiana roadways safe and sober.

Man injured in shooting on Prairie Avenue
SOUTH BEND, Ind. South Bend Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Prairie Avenue Monday evening.
Police were called to the 1900 block of Prairie Avenue around 10:45 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
They located a man who had been shot in the leg.
The victim was transported to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
The investigation is ongoing.
