Increase in targeted patrols and a new ride sharing initiative in line for this weekend
By: Matt Nagy
Troopers with the Indiana State Police will be conducting targeted patrols over the next few days to combat an expected increase in impaired and dangerous driving behavior.
Increased patrols will take place from Wednesday through Saturday in preparation of more impaired driving during both St. Patrick's Day and the first two rounds of the college basketball tournament.
Troopers will be out in full force in an effort to keep our Indiana roadways safe and sober.
Hoosiers around the state are being asked to party safely and make responsible choices when it comes to your means of transportation.
