Baxter Dury History and Biography Baxter Dury is an English indie rock singer-songwriter and musician from Wingrave, Buckinghamshire. He is the son of Ian Dury, who rose to fame during the late 1970s in the punk and new wave era of rock music, and his leading role in the Blockheads. Dury released his debut album, ‘Len Parrot s Memorial Lift’, in 2002, which was followed by ‘Floor Show’ in 2005, ‘Happy Soup’ in 2011 and ‘It s A Pleasure’ in 2014. Prince of Tears dropped in October 2017 and was supported by extensive UK and European touring. His latest LP, The Night Chancers , landed in March 2020. Baxter Dury has rescheduled his headline UK tour to March 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
