These foods are already present in Indian cuisine, and focusing on a diet that includes these ingredients, is low in fat, free of dairy, and free of animal products can help reduce symptoms of chronic disease. Fight Diabetes with Food – Eight-Week Series by The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine May 12, 2021, 7:54 PM IST The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine is conducting an eight-week class series from May 14 to July 2, called ‘Fight Diabetes with Food’. The series is completely free to attend, and all are welcome. The series will be held every Friday, from 9PM to 10PM IST, starting May 14 and ending on July 2. The series would address how and why to make dietary changes that can prevent and even reverse type 2 diabetes. These changes also address heart disease, obesity, and other conditions that leave people vulnerable, especially in the current situation.
