Hundreds of homes are gone as an unstoppable wildfire rips across parts of lake, napa and sonoma county. The valley fire exploded over 50,000 acres in 24 hours. Tonight it is still completely out of control. The damage it is catastrophe. Hundreds of homes have been lost, more than 10,000 people have been evacuated the National Guard has been mobilized and the governor declared a disaster. Fire wiped out entire neighborhoods including parts of cobb mountain, middletown and Hidden Valley lake. This is all 90 miles north of san francisco. There has been damage at the thermal plant. Yesterday along the Point Reyes National seashore and new warnings have gone up. Reporter chp flies over point reyes today taking pictures pinpointing where its sandstone cliffs are crumbling.
