A combined graduation ceremony for two classes at Glen Oaks Community College will take place Friday.
The college’s 52nd and 53rd commencement ceremonies begin at 7 p.m. at the school gymnasium.
The annual Nursing Pinning ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday and Allied Health pinning ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday, also at the gymnasium.
All three events will be livestreamed and take place without guests in attendance, due to pandemic precautions. Participants are expected to wear masks and will be seated socially distanced.
Valorie Juergens, director of communications and marketing at Glen Oaks, said for the combined years, there are 286 pending graduates with 343 degrees or certificates being awarded.
