Fourteen men and a woman arrested in one of the country's largest murder and racketeering investigations will finally appear in the Western Cape High Court in May.
Nafiz Modack will have to stay put at Helderstroom Prison in Caledon, after failing to get moved to Pollsmoor Prison in Cape Town to be closer to his lawyers.
The vehicle was allegedly used in the murder of Nici Heerschap, the father of a former Hawks officer investigating Modack, before it was dumped and burnt out.
Nafiz Modack has been charged with the murder of a Hawks policeman's dad in Melkbosstrand in 2019. The NPA alleges he is the funder in the hit which was supposed to have taken out the policeman.
