The three men accused of money laundering for murder-accused Nafiz Modack have been biding their time in a corner of the dock in the Western Cape High Court, which is trying to get to the bottom of the murder of Anti-Gang Unit detective Charl Kinnear.
Cape Town businesman Nafiz Modack claimed he paid bribes to the late Anti-Gang Unit detective Charl Kinnear and former Major General Jeremy Vearey, in a deal brokered by a middleman, but he never got his guns.
Mark Lifman, Jerome Donkie Booysen and Andre Naude and 11 co-accused face 36 charges for the murder of Brian Wainstein and attempts on the lives of their alleged underworld rivals Nafiz Modack and Colin Booysen among others.
