Erie Times-News
Remember last fall, when the Erie Philharmonic geared up and gave four free virtual concerts online just to keep the music playing? Well, the Phil is offering up four more free virtual concerts to carry us through the winter and into spring.
Starting Jan. 21, thanks to donors and sponsors, Erie Philharmonic Music Director Daniel Meyer will continue our musical journey around the world with a concert themed From Russia with Love. Organizers said it will delve into the Russian soul with music from Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev and more.
The concerts will start at 8 p.m. and will be available for viewing on WQLN-TV and via wqln.org/eriephil and https://eriephil.org/. Like the four fall concerts, these ones will air first on Thursday evenings and then repeat the following Sunday afternoons – in this case, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m.
