It is necessary that you help people make the link between social and Emotional Learning and the academic curriculum. People understand the culture and climate of schools is critical. I have indicated my board, teachers, and parents. The resonance of that has been very responsive. When you state it that way, i have not found difficulty in moving forward, in any of the districts i have been in. People understand character matters. Was primarily about what conservative should do about the welfare state. Um wondering what russias role was in as ideological debates. A very good question. I would commend something he says which is, i dont believe there was much conflict about what position to take on the welfare state, but there was some. It was not russias primary concern. I think any president would rather be in their second term than having to be in a first term with a huge election looming. So i think you get a lot of relief when youre president in the second term that you dont have to run again. Also, theres a notion there are scandals that occur in the second term on nixon and watergate and irancontra and lewinsky problems, all ones people raise. What they miss, is what would bill clinton have been without a second term. It wasnt the lewinsky issue that matters in the end but when he left office we had a surplus and that the triangulation worked and was able to have a balanced budget and couldnt have done it without a second term. We dont dwell on Ronald Reagans irancontra deb
