SAN ANTONIO - Two seperate house fires have displaced a pair of families early Wednesdya morning.

Columbus VFD receives help from Weimar, seeks help for family

COLUMBUS – The Columbus Volunteer Fire Department successfully put out a structure fire on New World Drive with the help of the Weimar Volunteer Fire Department. The combined force prevented the exterior from being engulfed in the flames. There was no physical damage to the family residing in the structure, but the fire resulted in a total loss of the interior.

After further investigation, Jose Orduna was arrested for warrants for prohibited substance in a correctional facility and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center. AAt 6:19 p.m., Sgt. Lara responded to the 2200 block of Highway 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed. MONDAY, MARCH 1 At 1:30 p.m., Ofc. Wilson responded to the 300 block of Radio Lane in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.
