There are multiple buildings, public and private, used for public meetings. Then when we moved to williamsburg we build and capitol in the english tradition. That burned down and we rebuilt the second one. It was the second capitol and williamsburg we left behind when we moved to richmond during the revolutionary war. Interestingly, mr. Jefferson, who introduced the bill to relocate to jefferson, of the time we made the move he was serving as governor and i to oversee the process.
