NEW ULM, Minn. (KEYC) â The Brown County Historical Society was awarded a Minnesota Historical and Cultural Heritage grant Thursday.
The $8,982 grant will be used to inventory, catalog and photograph objects house in the Brown County Museumâs artifact storage spaces. Some of the objects in these spaces include textiles, household furnishings, sculptures and paintings.
The project is the second phase of a five-year comprehensive inventory of the 16,000 artifacts in the Brown County Historical Societyâs artifact collection.
