A robust civic complaint redressal system appears to be a pipedream for a majority of Bengalureans, who do not have any political influence in the city. Despite Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike’s (BBMPs) tall claims, a lot of complaints lodged on the ‘Sahaaya 2.0’ platform either gets closed without being attended to or is pushed under the ‘long-term solutions’ category.

Bengaluru: A proper civic issues problem-solving system looks like a distant dream for most of the citizens. A lot of complaints registered on the Sahaaya 2.0 platform get shut without being attended to.
Almost all the people had a common response to how the app is losing its original purpose, according to
Bangalore Mirror. They demand a system where the ward engineers would be able to shut the complaint following approval from the people.
