OCI Cardholders Now Need To Get Document Re-Issued Only Once At Age Of 20
If a person has obtained registration as OCI cardholder after attaining the age of 20 years, there will be no requirement of re-issue of OCI card.

According to the Union home ministry, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders will now be required to get their document re-issued only once at the age of 20 instead of multiple times needed to be done currently.

New Delhi: The Union Home Ministry on Friday notified that all Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders will hereon have to take special permission, or ‘Special Permit’, from the central government if they wish to be involved in any missionary or ‘Tabligh’ or even journalistic activities in India.
