There has been a change at the ownership level with the Twin City Thunder.
Ben Gray sold his 50% share to Dan Hodge, who becomes the sole owner of the organization after a three-year partnership between the two men.
Gray also owns the Maine Moose youth hockey organization, based out of Camden National Bank Ice Vault in Hallowell, as well as the owner of Merit Pools & Spas in Augusta.

The perfect teammate.
Those words describe former L/A Fighting Spirit (2016-17) and L/A Nordiques (2017-18) defenseman Patrick Romano, who died Saturday morning in a structure fire in Niagara Falls, New York.
Romano, 24, of Toms River, New Jersey, was a student at nearby Niagara University, where he was studying sports management and was member of the school’s ACHA club hockey team. He also helped the school’s athletic department livestream sporting events.

Rusty Tillman, center, the former head coach of the XFL s New York/New Jersey Hitmen, died on Sunday at the age of 75.

The Seattle Times reports Tillman died “in Flagstaff, Arizona. A cause of death was not immediately disclosed.”

Tillman’s pro football journey began as a special teams standout for the Washington Redskins from 1970 to 1977. He transitioned into coaching in 1979, and spent 15 years as an assistant with the Seahawks. He would later join the coaching staffs of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Oakland Raiders, Indianapolis Colts and Minnesota Vikings.
