Trains from Delhi to Patna continue to experience delays, inconveniencing hundreds of Patna-bound passengers. The delays are due to bad weather and dense fog in the north-central region on the Delhi-Kanpur-Prayagraj-DDU-Patna mainline route.
Seventeen trains arriving at Ludhiana railway station were delayed by fog on Tuesday, with the Amritsar Weekly SF Express and Jhelum Express arriving 11 hours and 10 hours behind schedule, respectively. Passengers faced a tough time as they waited in cold weather. Dense fog in the region has severely hit rail traffic across the country for the last one month.
