GUWAHATI: Panic spread among the passengers of a New Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express after they noticed smoke coming out of a coach near Fakiragram in lower Assam’s Kokrajhar district on Saturday.
Clarifying that there was no fire, chief public relations officer of Northeast Frontier Railway, Subhanan Chanda, told TOI, “It was just a case of brake binding. That creates some smoke due to the heat that is generated. It is nothing serious.”
