Coal India tentative auction calendar for non-regulated sectors

Coal India Ltd has released a tentative auction calendar stating that it will auction fuel linkages for non-regulated sectors in July each year. The auction is expected to be completed within nine months, with sub-sectors such as sponge iron, cement, captive power plant, and steel being auctioned in that order. Additionally, there will be two rounds of auction for the SHAKTI B (iii) Linkage, taking place in April/May and October/November. The auctions are part of the SHAKTI policy, which aims to allocate coal linkages to the power and non-power sectors through a bidding process.
