They did the right thing by suspending him, but they should have communicating it better. Reporter other students had a similar reaction. Reporter brock turner was released from jail last month after serving an intensely protested threemonth sentence for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman. Start. Cool again for wednesday. Rain though coming late thursday into friday starting up north in the north bay thursday. And then spreading south into the bay area friday. We are looking at soaking rain in the north bay which is great. The northern portion of the state where we have most of our reservoirs and thats where were going to see the highest rainfall totals. Also those Higher Elevations, mountains throughout the northern portion of the state could see substantial rainfall upwards of 15 inches possible again those Higher Elevations usually see more substantial rain. But our average for october say up north under 2 inches. We are expecting to get about 2 inches if this happens over 2 inches in santa rosa by the end of the weekend. Police responded to reports of a theft in an Auto Parts Store. When officers arrived, the suspect took off running into the nearest neighborhood. Witnesses report that the man jumped fences and forced his way into two separate homes. A resident inside one of them saw the man with a knife in his hand and heard him say he had a gun though she didnt actually see one. Police have a perimeter set up in the neighborhood. And they are trying to take this man into custody. There is a pretty heavy Police Presence right now at the scene. And, again, we have residents evacuated from the homes as a precaution. So far there have been no reports of any injuries. We will continue to update you as we get more information on the story. Thank you, ann.
