India and Pakistan recently attended a meeting in Vienna to discuss the long-standing dispute over the Indus Waters Treaty. India participated in the meeting with a high-powered delegation, led by the Secretary of the Department of Water Resources.
The meeting was convened by the Neutral Expert appointed on India’s request under the aegis of the Indus Waters Treaty. It was attended by representatives of India and Pakistan.
Senior Advocate Harish Salve was present in the capacity of India s lead counsel in the matter, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Thursday. | Latest News India
