The nonprofit group continued to hold community events, but with protocols adapted to the public health crisis. Club members laid out trick-or-treat bags for kids at the Arlington Recreation Park last Halloween — along with bottles of hand sanitizers. They canceled last holiday season’s lighted vehicle and tractor parade in Arlington due to safety restrictions, but decided to come up with an alternative: inviting residents to decorate their vehicles with holiday lights and drive around the community.
