oprah is pulling her stakes in chicago. the talk show star helped make that city s near west side neighborhood a trend-setter when she moved her tv studio there in 1990. she has sold the harpo studios four buildings for about $32 million. harpo will continue to lease the buildings for two years or so but oprah moved out three years ago when she set up her oprah winfrey network in los angeles. she owns a condo in chicago which is up for sale for nearly $8 million. those studios did a lot to revitalize that west loop area. it s a shame. yeah, definitely made it a hip place to stay. but she s be renting it out, i m sure it will stay cool. hope it stays that way. wayne knight, who played newman on the seinfeld show is alive and well this morning after he was reported to be dead. a website reporting knight had died in a car crash near the pennsylvania/new york border. that news rocketed around the internet.
