Delhi Police Recovers 100+ Oxygen Concentrators from Two Upscale Restaurants
Navneet Kalra is the owner of three restaurants where concentrators have been seized. His mobile phone is switched off and he is absconding, the police said.

New Delhi:Â The Delhi Police on Friday said it has recovered 105 oxygen concentrators during raids at two upscale restaurants and arrested four people.
Ninety-six oxygen concentrators were recovered from popular restaurant Khan Chacha and nine from Town Hall restaurant, both situated in the Khan Market area, the police said.

New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Friday (May 7, 2021) recovered 105 oxygen concentrators during raids at two upscale restaurants and arrested four people. Ninety-six oxygen concentrators were recovered from popular restaurant Khan Chacha and nine from Town Hall restaurant, both situated in the Khan Market area, the police said.
This comes a day after Delhi Police recovered 419 oxygen concentrators from a restaurant-cum-bar in south Delhi s Lodhi Colony area and arrested four men Gaurav, Satish Sethi, Vikrant and Hitesh for hoarding and black-marketing the equipment.

Even as India and Delhi are amid a massive oxygen crisis owing to the COVID-19 situation in the country, the Delhi Police had on Friday recovered as many as 96 oxygen concentrators from Khan Market s popular restaurant Khan Chacha. We have recovered 96 oxygen concentrators from Khan Chacha Restaurant in Khan Market area, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) South Delhi Atul Bhatia said. Earlier in the day, Bhatia said that the police have recovered nine more concentrators.
419 oxygen concentrators were recovered during the raid, the police said.

Four men were arrested over alleged black marketing of oxygen concentrators in south Delhi s Lodhi Colony area, police said on Thursday.
The accused have been identified as Gaurav (47), a resident of Lajpat Nagar, Satish Sethi (44), a resident of East of Kailash, Vikrant (29), a resident of Mahipalpur, and Hitesh (32), a resident of Arjun Nagar, they said.
According to police, they have recovered 419 oxygen concentrators that were to be sold in black market.
During patrolling around 5 pm on Wednesday, it came to notice that Nege Ju Restaurant and Bar in central market Lodhi Colony was found open and some suspicious activity was going on, a senior police officer said.
