TANZANIA Bureau of Standards (TBS) has called on the general public to visit its pavilion at the ongoing 46th International Trade Fair (DITF) at Dar es Salaam Mwalimu Nyerere Fair Grounds.
FUEL marking work which was taken over by Tanzania Bureau of Standards recently from a consortium of Global Fluids International is going on well but stakeholders want to see a significant price reduction.

MORE than 15,000 students from primary and secondary schools who conduct their activities in public areas such as at bus terminals , markets, auctions in Kilosa District, Morogoro Region, Bagamoyo District - Coast Region and Mkinga District in Tanga Region have attended awareness campaign.
The campaign which was conducted by officials of Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) also benefited the community where as a total of 12,250 people attended. It was conducted between May 4 to 10 this year.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam the TBS public relations officer Neema Mtemvu said they have sensitised students in primary and secondary schools on the roles of use of certified products and they were given the free telephone numbers for communication in case they encounter any challenge
