FREEPORT, Maine (AP) An organization that runs a popular coastal farm and environmental center in Maine plans to launch an education, training and research facility. Wolfe's Neck Farm Foundation is set to receive a $2.5 million loan from the federal government for its Smith Center for Education and Research.
Among the recipients, Wolfe's Neck Farm will use a $2.5 million loan to build a research, training and education center that will teach alternative farming techniques.
