The pop-up outdoor beer garden on Main Street a rare success story during the COVID-19 pandemic is moving to the Granite Curling Club s east parking lot this year.
The new spot is in close proximity to the Manitoba legislature, Osborne Street, Osborne Village and some of the city s most densely populated neighbourhoods a great location for attracting more walk-up customers, said owner Brad Chute.

I know that the sequel s happening, and they re gonna start filming soon. But because I m the voice behind a speaker, I don t know any exact dates or anything like that. A local group affiliated with the national Wreaths Across America effort has once again placed a Christmas wreath on every grave marker at Fort Bayard National Cemetery. Because of COVID-19 restrictions put in place by the National Cemetery Administration, there were some unique challenges for organizers this year, but they met their goal of adorning the entire cemetery.
In a typical year, as many as 150 to 200 volunteers assist with placing wreaths, according to coordinator Mary Cowan. This year, organizers had to make do with only 25 people, and a group of six to eight people delivering them from delivery vehicles to wreath-layers inside the cemetery.
