DORENA, Ore. After a man was assaulted, Dorena residents are questioning whether their streets are safe, and now the man is speaking out.
Victim Neal McDonald was walking his dog on the Fourth of July when the incident happened. He was taken to OHSU in Portland, where he had surgery on his eye. Due to the severity of the incident, McDonald ended up losing all vision in his right eye.
