okay, now we are being told that the passengers and crew on this plane have been escorted and taking off of the a330 which is fantastic news. we don t know if the suspects are still on board and if they are, they too will be shortly taken off that plane. the situation broke about an hour ago and it looks like we are getting a very good result on this because we are being told now that the 27 passengers and the pilot boarded this plane with the preboarding or boarding process have now been taken off the plane. we do not know that yet the status of the suspect or suspects but this looks to be a very good conclusion of the situation that has a very bad connotation about 15 minutes ago. we are told this was away from the gate and demands are being
from orlando to atlanta just after 10:00 a.m. sunday morning. that went down the tubes fast for everyone on board during the boarding process when a properly ticketed passenger got to her assigned seat, revealing that the unticketed passenger was in her seat. the flight attendants tried to figure out the mix-up the woman in question said she threw her ticket away. didn t have any i.d. at all. to prove who she was she offered a selfie of herself on her cell phone. not good enough. the woman was removed from the plane after the pilot called tsa and they removed everybody off the plane. so they could then search the plane with dogs, make sure everything was safe. the plane was eventually cleared. delta airlines as well as the f.b.i. and tsa all investigating. tsa says the woman did make it through the security screening process at the airport. the question is how exactly she then got onto the jet way and
going to go into action ourselves, i think. go ahead. i was going to say, any time you see someone act up on an airplane, you see 35 people jumping to the aid of the flight crew. you have people boarding the airplane telling the lead flight attendant, i m former military, ism a retired airline employee, if you need an extra set of hands, come and get me. we ll never have a repeat of 9/11 even though we ve done everything to make sure that we will not have that, with regards to the cockpit voice recorder or the reinforced cockpit door and biometrics is something we ll see at airports around the country where the tsa and others will be using this form of facial recognition to speed up the boarding process and to make it more secure and we re going to continue to see that implemented at airports around the country, internationally as well as dough mess particularly as we domestically as we travel. eric: we are certainly safer.
