The National Transportation safety board has recovered the black box from the wreckage. The train hit a tight curve on the north side traveling more than twice the posted speed limit of 50 Miles Per Hour. More than 100 Miles Per Hour it was traveling at the time. The engineer now identified as Brandon Bostian of new york slammed on the emergency brakes seconds before the engine and seven cars derailed. At least seven people died in the crash.
