A similar launcher was spotted by a. P. Journalists near that area thursday. This is greg fife, a former ntsb investigator. This airplane was at 33,000 feet, but the military grade surface to air missiles can reach those altitudes. Youre not going to get 33,000 foot shootdown with a shoulder fired missile, but if you have the type of missile that apparently is being reported right now, it does have High Altitude capabilities.
