Through our area and caused flooding forcing a school in mayville to be closed this morning. Rising waters caused Saint Johns Lutheran School to be home around 930 yesterday morning. And at the nearby Parkview School classrooms were emptied around one oclock. Students were taken to a park pavilion for parents to come pick them up. I was actually monitoring it all day because when i picked her up from school we seen that the playground was flooded and then we heard on the news that the other roads were flooded in town so we were just keeping an eye on it and waiting for the email from the school. volunteers and first resp piling up sandbags in an effort to protect both schools from the oncoming water.
